Because of the ongoing brutality, suffering, and death of billions of animals, (and humans) in the world as presently constituted. Because violence can be habituating thus self perpetuating. Because of the way I feel about the degree, and amount of suffering and death of animals that need not be. And lastly because of my opposition to cruel, sadistic, unfeeling, intolerant, violent, and indifferent conduct.

왈바투어스토리 읽다가 남기신 코멘트보고 님 홈페이지까지 와서 잘 보았습니다. 궁금한게 있는데 해남여행시 헬멧에 소형백미러를 부착했다고 하셨는데 그 백미러는 어디서 구하고 헬멧 어디에 부착하나요? 베스트포인트사에서 나온 백미러내장헬멧은 별로 안내키고 안전을 위해 미러달린 헬멧 알아보고 있거든요. 그럼 계속 안전운행 하십시요!

우연히 최장헌의 전국자전거 여행을 드렀다가 선생님의 홈피에 와서 해남여행기를 감동적으로 읽었습니다.
사실 다른 곳에서 한번 읽은 적이 있는데 또다시 자세히 읽었습니다. 저는 나이 45세의 환경직공무원인데 평소 갖고 싶었던 mtb(BLACK CAT)를 한달전에 구입해서 매일 19KM되는 길을 출퇴근하면서 몸을 만들고 있는 MTB초봅니다. 산은 2번정도 갔으며,지금까지800KM 주행한것 같군요. 저도 선생님처럼 해남이나 부산쪽으로 잔차 여행을 준비중입니다. 선생님 건강하시구요 가정에 평화가 넘쳐나시기를 기원합니다.
